Frank Dahlquist allegedly pepper sprayed multiple police officers before entering Capitol

Captured on film "spraying an orange-colored chemical agent directly into the face of a police officer" before "assaulting another officer with chemical spray," West Valley Fire Rescue Fire Chief Frank Dahlquist was charged with assaulting multiple police officers before entering the US Capitol on January 6 during anti-democratic riots which brought Seditious Conspiracy charges to leaders of the right-wing Proud Boy and Oath Keeper organizations.
Dahlquist was sworn in as the as the WVFRC in November of 2022 after leaving Monroe, Washington. The WVFRC serves the Helena area and much of Lewis and Clark County.
213 “J6” defendants in total thus far have plead guilty similar felonies which include assault and obstruction of officers as well as Seditious Conspiracy which is defined as:
...conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States with Seditious Conspiracy.
When someone says no one was charged with “insurrection,” they're being disingenuous as plenty of people have been charged with Seditious Conspiracy.
After an April, 2022 Washington state news segment aired titled, “A group of King County firefighters plea to drop vaccine mandate as jobs put in Jeopardy,” a Special Agent noted they looked similar to someone who'd sprayed police officers with pepper spray.
Kinda crude of Dahlquist to blast those officers in the face with pepper spray seeing as those officers—as according to many republicans—were merely trying to let him in to give him a tour.
The Special Agent then asked asked Dahlquist's then superiors if they could confirm it was him.
The hat denotes Red Lives Matter—but not Blue, apparently, to Dahlquist.
Charging documents state:
They were able to immediately recognize and identify DAHLQUIST based on his physical and facial features, handkerchief mask, and mannerisms. In regard to the gray handkerchief mask, they specifically recalled that DAHLQUIST would consistently wear that same “buff” (also commonly called a neck gaiter) to work at the fire station as a COVID mask.
After the confirmation, they tracked Dahlquist's cell phone movements that noted he was not only at the Capitol but in restricted areas.
After “peacefully” blasting officers in the face with pepper spray, Dahlqui tours the Capitol building.
In additional footage, the person alleged to be confirmed as Dahlquist is also seen throwing a piece of lumber at police.
The question remains: where tf did he find a rando piece of lumber?
Although he missed, it demonstrates how this individual was definitely in the thick of the fighting which former President Trump has described as behaving "patriotically and peacefully." He has called other people who engaged in such behaviors as "hostages."
“Patriotically,” but for what country? The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan/Taliban?
Trump, the favored Republican candidate, has also been charged with involvement intrying to overturn the 2020 election which includes sending fake electors to try and scam the U.S. electoral system.
Despite their disguises🥸, Trump's fake electors were thwarted that day.
As far as Dahlquist, while presumed innocent until proven guilty, he appears to have a mountain of evidence stacked against him and will likely have to plead guilty to felony assualt against a police officer.
In October, another Helena man suspected to be Oathkeeper Aaron J. Leas brags/threatened FBI on his Gab account in response to another Montana man being sentenced for his J6 involvement:
"I was at the Capitol on J6, I've not been captured. FUCK THE FEDS. I've got lead for you when you can find me.
LIVE FREE OR DIE!
I've never been IDd, I ghosted when I went.”
You ghosted all that time and decided to just throw that out there? I'll take your word.
Leas has long been under the radar of local Antifascists ever since he threatened to shut down a drag story hour where he resides in Helena."TheMontanaMan" handle always sharing Leas' posts and vice versa with very similar language on Gab seemed too 'coincidental' to not be him.
And while one can't prove the Montana Man account admitting he is Leas andat J6 unless he admits it outright or he has travel reciepts, "what do they say about coincidences?"
Sherlock Holmes: "The universe is rarely so lazy."
Here both are claiming Oathkeeper:
Agreed. It must be very embarrassing to be an Oathkeeper.
Most concerning was the threats directed at trans MT. Rep. Zoey Zephyr (I warned her in private) where the Leas'/MT Man accounts used the near same exact threatening language of "the pendelum will swing back the other way. Then all your cries will fall on deaf ears."
Seems like a nice guy. This guy was a literally a Montana GOP Captain, too.
He glaimed was a "Tr*ny N*ger k*e f*got" after finding Nazi graffiti at a Crow prayer spot and reporting it.
After I posted the threats, claimed he didn't want to kill trans people, then dirty deleted his Gab account history.
Note Islamicist/LGBTQ comparison with Zephyr.
Anyway, according to Forbes, the most arrests per capita for January 6 participant arrestsper capita by state is actually Montana. (Washington, DC has the most per capita overall.)
According to the U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia, “…the statute of limitations for the crimes is five years, which means they would have to be charged by Jan. 6, 2026" so prosecutors and agents are ramping up efforts to identify and charge those doing violence in that day.
For those faux patriots, the sun is setting, and it's getting cold….
Great journalism!
