Montana's so-called "Freedom" Caucus compares trans lawmaker to mass shooter
The ironically named caucus also claims schoolkids are defecating in cat litterboxes & LGBTQ people "deserve to live in fear"
Armed Nazi Montana Freedom Caucus supporters prepare to yell death threats at Missoula, Mont.’s LGBTQ communkty on Trans Day of Visibility.
After calling out government overreach of intrusive, unconstitutional, LGBTQ-phobic bills, Rep. Zoey Zephyr said the next time they invoke their God in prayer she hopes they "see the blood on your hands.”
Apparently, Republican Jesus commands cruelty to Montana citizens.
These remarks come in the aftermath of increased bullying and mass shooting threats towards Montana LGBTQ citizens—including where Nazis yelled yelled at LGBTQ people they needed to be “put down” like dogs, and "Pedophiles get the rope!”
GOP policy advocates who just so also happen to be fans of…Hitler.😒
Apparently, this triggered the crybullies of the so-called Freedom Caucus into a snowflake blizzard of yet another anti-free speech frenzy as they immediately called for soft-voiced, yet outspoken trans woman to be censured based on the reasoning someone in Tennessee 1,800 miles away committed one of 160 mass shootings in 2023 as according to Gun Violence Archive.
Confirmed by Montana Freedumb Caucus Q Anon messageboards: all these are Zephyr's fault.
So-called Freedom Caucus member Rep. Braxton Mitchell, who also wants to ban drag shows based off the fact all drag queens cause him "prurient interest" which is broad legal speak for “having a tendency to excite lustful thoughts," also tried to stir outrage after falsely accusing the Uvalde shooter—who killed 19 children and 2 teachers—of being transgender.
Turning Point USA's finest fact checker.
Because of his own apparent "prurient interest" and arousal when he sees a drag queen in a gown reading a children's book, he frequently accuses all drag queens as wanting to have sex with children.
This predictably leads to Mitchell's supporters calling for the executions of his Montana constituents.
I guess the “children” in the room were Braxton and Mitchell?
Oh, and in another instance of not so critical thinking, Braxton "Catboy" Mitchell apparently tried to link being transgender with a bizarre claim children were openly shitting in catboxes in school bathrooms all across the America. No joke.
Good question. Where is our country going with people like you acting as a representative?
Anyway, I write far more than I want to about hate groups, and when you visit their ugly sites, one thing you notice is day after day is how they scower the internet to find instances of Black folks committing crimes while dehumanizing all of them as n-words and "animals.”
This tired tactic of blaming entire marginalized demographics for an acts of an individual is nothing knew to bigots. It's something the KKK did against Black people, and Nazis perfected against Jews, and what conservative media has become today.
Very subtle.😒
See a pattern?
…and then there's this pattern, which males of the Freedumb Caucus call, “do yur resurch!”
Other so-called Freedom Caucus supporters like elected GOP official and Holocaust denier Aaron J. Leas of East Helena have repeatedly called for violence against drag shows and trans people—which of course includes Zephyr.
Tell us how you really feel, Mr. Leas.
Freedumb Caucus Senator Theresa Manzella not only strongly supported disgraced former LGBTQ-phobic Pastor Jordan Hall—who repeatedly made calls for "metaphorical" threats against me that included how he was going to "scalp" me with other threats of heavily implied violence cuz I'm a transgender Native American…
Literal Montaliban got the RPGs coming at me.
…but current proud book burning Pastor Brandon Huber.
Imagine this being a core memory as a kid.
Hall had apparently forgotten to read the "Thou Shalt Not Bear False Witness" part of his Bible, and I sued him for libel for claiming I yelled in the face of an elderly Senator at the Montana Capitol building as well as harass other legislators.
Long story short there was some unhinged people trying to find me, including a convicted, violent rapist of a 15-year-old boy who traveled 200-plus miles trying to find me while espousing Hall's lies.
Manzella called my fight against such lies and crazies "Good vs Evil on Full Display" with me being the latter.
The “found out” part of fucking around.
While speaking fresh on the heels of a book burning at Pastor Huber's Church in an event presented by Hall, Manzella said LGBTQ people being scared to walk down the street were normal consequences associated with their “choice” of...being born gay, I guess?
She actually said, "They're (LGBTQ folks) scared to walk down the street hand in hand… and I gotta tell ya, I think those are normal consequences associated with the choices they’re making.”
She further “clarified” LGBTQ people deserved to live in fear due to "their choice to live a perverse lifestyle."
Thanks for the…clarification?
And speaking of books, so-called Freedom Caucus member John Fueller, who has brought forth 4 anti-LGBTQ bills in the last 2 years, has been a strong proponent of books and compared those who didn't ban them as being equivalent to Nazis at the Nuremberg trials.
Wait, whuuu, Mr. Fueller?
Fueller once literally wrote in an op-ed that "Democracy is a methodology of government that has failed as miserably as socialism."
And yet, these people act indignant when you call them fascists.
At least fascist.
Last legislative session in 2021, before I went up to testify against the a "religious freedom" bill that aims to grant Jim Crow-type discrimination laws against LGBTQ based on "religious beliefs," a lady mentioned how people were planning on leaving Montana because the anti-LGBTQ atmosphere had grown so hostile toward them.
Lobbyist SK Rossi tweeted, "Just saw a little cheer go up from a committee member" because so-called Freedom Caucus members reps. Jedediah Hinkle and Bob Phalen celebrated this news. (This is literally true. I personaly know a lot of people who left Montana.)
I stood at the podium, but before I could speak, Rep. Donovan Hawk addressed everyone:
“I would just like to say that if I can give my representatives in the committee respect in listening to our people, I would hope that we just couldn’t sit here and snicker while people are making testimony."
Hawk would later clarify to the Montana Free Press, “It was almost like it was a joke to them. I sit there and I listen to everybody and give them the respect, and I hope that we could [do the same] for people giving public testimony.”
Based. Thank you, Donavan.
For the record, I went up and told them, “How many of you know what it’s like to have to have that terrible apprehension to wait for a literal act of Congress or a Supreme Court decision ruling just to see if the Civil Rights Act of 1964 applies to you, just because of who you are and the way you’re born?"
For all of us Montana LGBTQ people bullied, to witness elected representatives disgustingly accusing us of “grooming” little kids to have sex with; to seeing armed Nazis yelling at LGBTQ people and families and children that "pedophiles get the rope!" and "Weimar conditions require Weimar solutions!" in reference to Nazis taking over Germany all while the so-called Freedom Caucus claims “democracy has failed,” it's obviously disingenuous for them to accuse Zephyr of promoting violence when she was very obviouspy looking out for the safety of said citizens denied healthcare and constantly threatened by extremists, unlike you who literally cheer when we plead concerns of feeling endangered.
%1000 Freedom Caucus…
…annnnd hey, that's me they're threatening.😥
With that, Montana should be thanking Zoey for saying what she said and standing up for marginalized communities—not censuring her.
So I will.
Nea'se/thank you. 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️❤️
